“woodlands” is a homage to my suburban hometown, to understanding one’s roots, and to the inability to fully understand the greatness of the outdoors. The first three tracks were written in a week towards the end of a recent stay at my parent’s house and the last track on my last morning there.

This EP is dedicated to my parents who are both as wonderful as they are my everything.

A special thank you to Coffi Co in Cardiff for letting me use their Wi-Fi to download James’s trumpet stems while I didn’t have internet access! Everything they serve is incredible and you should all go visit them sometime, especially you. Yes, you. That’s right. You.
